Good afternoon and happy Saturday! It occurs to me that I failed to post last week's manicure up on this blog. I don;t know what I was thinking, but I guess I was very sidetracked. Anyway, I am back, and this week I have a very green manicure. I did not intend for it to look like a Spring manicure initially, but it sort of came out that way anyway. :D
I started off this manicure with a white base. Then I used the watercolor technique (using acetone to thin the polish and let the colors bleed together) with Revlon Posh, Sinful Colors Last Chance, and Sally Hansen Perfect Pear-ing. Here is what it looked like.
After that, I used Konad Special Black and CICI&SISI plate 05 to add the swirling leafy pattern to each nail. I really love the result!
Thank you so much for stopping by to see my art today, and please make sure you look at all the other green manicures as well! There are some really great ones!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Christmas
Hi lovelies! I have a busy day today, so I'll be keeping this short and sweet. ;) I did a little tree pattern across my nails using a pretty new red I received from Kayla at Creative Cuticles for my base.
The trees and stars were painted using Revlon Posh and Sinful Colors Chalk It Up. I used one of my new tiny paintbrushes from Lady Queen, which I will talk about more in my next post. They are great so far.
This is what Creative Cuticles A Great Red looks like on it's own. It's a red jelly filled with red metallic hex glitters. I used two coats here, and may have needed one more coat for true opacity, but I knew I was painting over about it, so I didn't bother. ;)
Thank you so much for stopping by! I'm off to run a million errands, bake cookies, meet my FIRST nephew, and then celebrate my friends, Josh and Michael's wedding! Make sure you take a look at all the other fabulous Christmas manis!

Floral Stamping with SinfulColors
For this week's Stamping Plate Challenge, I decided to try blending two colors in a gradient fashion on the stamping plate. I've done this a few times before, but it's been a while, and I felt like stamping in just one solid color would be boring, so I used Fig and Daredevil over top of SinfulColors' Whiteboard polish using the same plate as last week, CICI&SISI 23.
Hooray for floral stamping! I always love it no matter what time of year it is. Also, I am super impressed with my new CICI&SISI plates. They are etched perfectly, and work great with my new Winstonia squishy stamper!
Thank you so much for looking, and as always, I appreciate you! I'll be back in a couple days with this week's Pick n Mix!

SinfulColors "A Class Act" Back to School Collection 2015 (partial)
*items in post provided in exchange for my honest review
Good morning. I have 10 polishes from SinfulColors' back to school collection. They sent me these for a review and I am more than happy to share. This is a brand you can find at a lot of drugstores, as well as Walmart and Target. They are usually $1.99, which is sinfully cheap (see what I did there??) despite the fact that they are great polishes.
I was interested in the white and black polishes because I'm always looking for a good, opaque white. Once I opened the package, I realized these were demi-matte finish polishes, and am excited to add a matte white to my collection. Whiteboard is decently opaque. It only took two thin coats here (which is good for white), and dried to a matte finish, so it looks kind of like chalk to me. The formula is great. There was no dragging or pulling, and it was just nice and smooth.
I tried topcoating it too, to see how it would look shiny, and decided it would definitely work well for a white base in nail art. I used one coat of Out The Door topcoat here.
Blackboard is actually not black, but in fact, looks just like the color of a blackboard. It is a dark grey-blue; the color of slate. It is a very thin polish, and took three coats to become opaque. This one dried to a matte finish as well, and looked exactly like a chalkboard once dry.
I had no issues with the formula on this one until I tried to topcoat it. It did not play nice with Out The Door Topcoat. It "ate" the topcoat the way some glitter polishes do, and only it spots, so that the finish was matte in some places and shiny in others. It was weird. However, I tried again with my trusty Seche Vite, and that had no problem. Nice and shiny and smooth. It's easier to see here that the shade is not a true black.
I couldn't resist doing some chalkboard nailart, so I did this with these two colors! Cute, right? The plate I used is BM-H23. Whiteboard is not quite opaque enough for typical stamping, but it was perfect to give the look of chalk on a blackboard in this mani. Love!
I received one more demi-matte polish from them called Chalk It Up. It is a pale green polish, and had the same formula as the other two. Nice and smooth, so no complaints here. :)
I topcoated this one with Out The Door topcoat with no issues. Here is what it looks like shiny.
Next, I have for you some of the shimmery colors from the collection. First up is Burst Of Fresh Flair It went on very smooth, but was quite thin. I did 4 thin coats here to build it up. I probably could have gotten away with 3, but I can't stand a visible nail line on me. It wouldn't matter for girls with short nails - they might even get away with only two coats! :) I really love this color. I have nothing like it, and can't wait to rock it in some spring manis come next March!

Next, is Purple Diamond. This one was almost as thin as Burst Of Fresh Flair, but not quite. It built up quickly, and ended up only needing three thin coats. Short-nailed girls could definitely just do two. You all know how much I love purples. This one is no exception. It is so soft and pretty. Like a princess's dress. Ooh like Repunzel from Tangled you guys!!!! Eeeeee!
The last shimmer polish I have from this collection to show you is Ice Blue. This one was identical to Purple Diamond in terms of formula. I did three thin coats here.
I received two brighter shades from them as well, so those are next. First, we have Daredevil. This is a hot pink with a blue shimmer. Nice formula, this is two coats with no topcoat.
Next, is Fig. This is a bright purple with a slight pink shimmer. It had a similar formula to Daredevil and went on in two easy coats. This is without topcoat.
Last, I have the two glitters that I received. First up is the green/blue one, Late Night Haute. It is a blue tinted jelly filled with iridescent shard glitters, tiny holographic glitters, and iridescent blue bar glitters. This is two coats over Chalk It Up.
And the last polish I have to show you all is Night Owl. This is a pink tinted jelly filled with metallic blue bar glitters, tiny holographic glitters, and iridescent shard glitters. I did two coats here over Daredevil.
Thank you so much for checking out these lovely swatches. They are available now for the back to school season, and I highly recommend Purple Diamond. It was my favorite out of all of these! You can follow SinfulColors to find out more about their upcoming collections if you are interested.

Stamping With My New Zoyas
Hi everyone! My hubby got me some new nailpolish for our anniversary (12 years!!), so I thought it would be nice to use a couple of them in some stamping nail art. I decided to take a page out of Laurie's book (from Dressed up Digits) and do some double stamping. It always looks so awesome. I used Zoya Tilda for my base and stamped with Zoya Rikki using Mash-43. After that, I added a second layer of stamping using an old Sinful Colors polish called Last Change with BM03 and RA-115.
Here is Zoya Tilda by itself. It's a pretty apple green cream. I like this shade more on the nail than I did in the bottle. That is always good! I did two coats here.
Here it is before I added my last layer of stamping. It's really pretty just like this, too, but I love the dimension that double stamping adds.
Thanks for looking! I'll have more to show off soon as he also bought me two other Zoya's and a China Glaze polish. Yay!

The Neverending Pile Challenge - Glitter
For this challenge today, I have a polish that I have always wanted to wear, but didn't really know what to do with...it is a thin pink jelly with glitter in it, and I have always had a hard time with polish that you can see through. When I first bought it, I was too new to nail polish to realize what I was buying. I thought it would look on my nail the way it looks in the bottle. Sadly, it does not. BUT, it could - after 4 coats, so that is what I did. :)
This is Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter. I am including a picture of it in natural light here, too so you can see the glitter better. It is actually really pretty, but I get frustrated by the stains on my nails showing through, and the nail line, since I keep my nails rather long.
I stamped over it as well, using Mash- and Zoya Lo. You can barely tell, but there it is. haha
Thanks for looking, and make sure you check out everyone's unused glitters.

30 Day Flower Challenge Day 13: Gardenia
Today's post has to be quick, so I'll let the pictures do the talking. These are supposed to be gardenias. Hopefully it looks a bit like it to you! I used Sinful Colors Last Chance for the base and painted to gardenias using Pure Ice SuperStar! and Milani Angel Pink.
Here is Last Chance by itself. I think I might have shown it on here before, but I couldn't remember. :P
Thanks for looking and take a peek at what the others have done!

Laid-Back NEW31DC Day 28 - Inspired By Your Favourite Colour
I can't choose a favorite color. I think they are all beautiful. I am, however, quite partial to green, blue, purple, and pink. :) Since I have been doing and awful lot of manis with those first three colors, I decided to do a nice pink manicure - with glitter. If glitter were a color, it would be my favorite. I wore this mani for my birthday, which was way back on 4/19. Anyway - here it is!
I started off this manicure with Wet n Wild Think Pink!. It is a great hot pink cream and is ages old. I'm not sure if they make it anymore. I think I've had it for 10+ years. I then taped off a couple sections to added three different pink glitters. The flakie is Zoya Chloe, the holo glitter is Wet n Wild Hannah Pinktana, and the bright pink iridescent glitter is Sinful Colors Pinky Glitter. I had to wait a days to get some sun. Unfortunately that meant I managed to get a bit of tip wear and chipping, but it's not too bad.
Here is Think Pink! all by itself - an oldie but a goodie!
There you have it - be sure to take a look at what the other girls did for this one!
