Hi everyone! I am totally getting away with combining prompts for this week's challenges in my two nail stamping groups! Muahahahahaha! ;) I am such a fan of this mani because it is so simple, but looks really cool. I've already had several random people stop me to ask if they were Jamberry's (puh-lease!), but I take it as a compliment. It's funny how stuff like this always gets noticed so much more than my 4-hour + manis that I put so much more effort into. The most effort I put into this was choosing the colors haha (which actually did take me like an hour because I just have too many choices!).
This is Color Club London Calling for the base. I love this pretty pastel green. It's a pastel, but still bright, and leans more yellow than blue, which is unusual for a pastel green. I stamped over top using this cool pebble-y image from MoYou Pro XL 05 and Fresh Paint Dragon Lady. These colors look so good together!
Here is what Color Club London Calling looks like by itself. It's a nice smooth polish and went on in two coats. I got this mini from my aunt, and when I wear it, I always think of her. :)
Thank you so much for looking. Please make sure you check out what everyone else did for this week's "pastel" prompt. Have a great day!

Funky French with Flowers
Hello! I have been playing with my collection of Loki's Nail Vinyls again, and did a cute floral, Spring-inspired mani using her vinyls to create a nice crisp funky french. I'm not sure where my inspiration came for this one. I was just sketching out ideas and then all of the sudden this idea was born. These three colors go so well together, too!
I started of with three coats of NYC Hamptons Peach, then used Loki's Nail Vinyls to mask the tip of each nail and painted over top of it using Julep Donna. Here is what it looked like at that point. Pardon the poor lighting, I wasn't in the mood to pull out my light box for this part. I really need to buy another Ott light. :) Oh and also, the dryness from the acetone - gross. Whatever though, you guys get the idea!
After I did that, I used a dotting tool to create the flowers using Color Club London Calling, then added a dot of Julep Donna in the center of each one. I really love this manicure. It came out so much better than I had even hoped. I have been sketching out my ideas on paper lately, and boy is it helping lol.
Here is NYC Hamptons Peach all by itself. This polish was a bit on the thin side, but it built up to opacity in 3 coats.
Thank you for stopping by to look today! I will be back in a couple days with a new mani for the 52 Week Pick n Mix. Have a great day!

52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge - 1980s
Hooray for the 80s! I was born in the 80s, so I cannot actually relate to them at all other than remembering teddy ruxpin and my awesome kitchen set! I was only five when the 80s came to an end, afterall. But, I do love a good 80s pattern on my nails. Everything in the 80s was so bright and funky. So, for today's mani, I went with a simple pattern to represent the 80s on my nails.
I started off with Sally Hansen Peach Beach for my base, then added my design using Nicole by O.P.I. Pros & Confidence and Color Club London Calling. Yay, fun! :D
Here is what Peach Beach looks like on its own. It is a great cream. I painted it on in three very thin coats to get it even, as it is a bit on the thin side.
Make sure you check out what everyone else did for their 80s and/or 3 dark colors manicures! I'll be back with my three dark colors tomorrow!

Golden Oldie Thursday - Flowers
For today's prompt, I decided to use up three older untrieds at once. I started it off with a base of BB Couture Honey Bunny, which I won in a giveaway last year and still haven't managed to wear. Then painted on random flowers with Color Club London Calling and Crabtree & Evelyn Peony using a dotting tool and a small striping brush. None of these polishes are more than 2 years old, but they are getting to be the oldest I've got since I've been doing all of these challenges! :P
Here is BB Couture Honey Bunny all by itself. This polish was very thin and required three coats, but the formula wasn't bad. It is a good Spring color.
Make sure you look at what the others did for this manicure, too!

Laid-Back NEW31DC Day 10 - Geometric
For today's manicure, I am taking inspiration from M.C. Escher. My father is a fan of his geometric patterns and artwork, and as a kid, I looked at it a lot. It really is intriguing. Of course, I couldn't do any of the more detailed/intricate ones, so I went with something pretty tame. But, if you look at it, it's just as confusing as any of his other work. :) So, here is my take on the geometric challenge!
I started off with two coats of Color Club Twiggie. The rest of the detail was done with Revlon Posh and L.A. Colors Art Deco Nail Art Lacquer in Forest Green. Here is Twiggie all by itself.
What do you think? I think the thumb turned out best. Why is that anyway? It always seems like the thumb turns out best.
Make sure you check out what everyone else did.

10 Day/Week...OK MONTH! Challenge - Ombre Nails
Whoa this is the first time I have ever done ombre nails...unless you count my entry in Nailed It's Two Bottle Challenge. I don't count that one because I used a single color plus white to create it. This one involved a lengthy selection of different colors, which I spent way too much time on. Anyway, I had to think a long time before deciding on a color family for this, and I finally settled on blues. Here's what I came up with.
On my pinky, I used Sinful Colors Cinderella, my ring finger is Sally Hansen Blue Me Away!, my middle finger is Zoya Tallulah, my index finger is L.A. Colors Wired, and my thumb is Color Club First Looks.
I can't believe I am finally done with this challenge. And under 10 months too! I started it in May last year, and knew I couldn't complete it in 10 days, so I decided on 10 weeks. A few of the manicures were so hard to get inspired for that I put them off for far too long and next thing I knew it became a monthly thing. Heehee - this is how things go in the rest of my life too, so I don't know why I'm surprised by this. Well, anyhow, guess its time to find a new challenge to join. Maybe there will be one over spring break. For now, I will just bring you random manis until then. :)

Glitter Sandwich - L.A. Girls Blissful Blackberry Scented Polish
Hi everyone! Today I have some nails that started out as one thing, and then changed to something completely different. I bought this polish at Drug Mart over the summer and was too obsessed with bright colors to wear it. Well it is perfect for fall and winter, so I pulled it out with the intention of doing some nail art. However, when I painted on the first few strokes and realized it was a jelly, I decided I would do my first glitter sandwich. And oh boy did I get crazy with the glitters!
I started off with 3 coats of Blissful Blackberry so I could show it by itself. Then, I added a coat of NYC Big City Dazzle. I've had this polish forever, but I don't think I've ever shown it, so I'll have to do that for you guys sometime. It's a very pretty and subtle glitter topper. So then, I added a coat of OPI Divine Swine from my beloved Muppet Collection, which is another polish I've never shown on here, but have had for months. And last, but not least, I added Color Club Diamond Drops, yet another polish I have never shared. It is awesome. This is actually the first time I've used a shard glitter, and I was surprised at how easy it was to apply. After that, I added another coat of L.A. Girls Blissful Blackberry to complete the sandwich.
Here is Blissful Blackberry all by itself. It is quite pretty on its own, and has a very light berry scent. I can't smell it unless I actually put my nails right up to my nose and sniff. And that looks very weird, but I still did it haha.
Well, thanks so much for looking. I have two more weeks of school, and then I will have more time for nail art. Yay! Sorry I neglect the blog so much during the semester. I've gotta get good grades after all, and that's hard enough when you're working full time. I'm still looking for a SHORT nail art challenge to participate in for the holidays if no one wants to participate in mine. I simply do not have the time to join in on any challenge until after 12/11. All the challenges I've seen started this week, or 12/1, and I've got finals, which means there will be no fancy nail art until that last final is completed. I haven't had any takers on my abbreviated nail art challenge idea, but if any of you decide you want to, or know of someone who is having one that you can share with me, please comment below. Have a great day!

Nail-Aween Nail Art Challenge - Matte Dotticure
It's day two of the Nail-Aween Nail Art Challenge, and I am much more happy with the way this mani turned out. I started out with a gradient, turned it matte, and then added my dots. I've been desperate to use some purple and slime green on my nails for the Halloween season, and this was my chance. Woohoo! Take a look.
For this dotticure, I started out with a gradient using Sally Hansen Pronto Purple, Pure Ice Black Rage, and Color Club Twiggie. Then I mattified it using NYC Matte Me Crazy, and added I dots with Pronto Purple and Twiggie. I so love the way this mani turned out! Here are a few pics of the process, so you can see the gradient before I mattified it and added the dots.
Thanks for looking, and be sure to check out the other participants in this challenge!

10 Day/Week Challenge - Inspired by a Book...Cover
For this mani, I spent a long time thinking about some of the books I've read over the past few years that I really enjoyed, and tried to come up with some nail art ideas. As I was looking at my copy of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, I was inspired by the cover. I think the design turned out to be pretty cool. I painted my nails yellow first with Spoiled Did I Dye It Too Blond? and then stamped over it very randomly with Color Club Twiggie. For this I used Mash-43 and Mash-49. That doesn't really matter so much as I only took bits and pieces from the stamps with the thin lines and actually tried not to use the whole image. After that I did the same thing using just Mash-49 with Spoiled Jail Bait. I think it turned out pretty cool. Take a look!
Here is an image of the book I used as my inspiration.
Overall, I am pretty happy with this one. The colors matched the book cover pretty well, and I had fun doing it. Thanks for looking!
