Good morning! I am combining prompts today, you guys because I just can't seem to find enough time to blog lately. And I lucked out because the prompts matched enough. Yay! So, seafoam and mint. I feel like they are practically the same color. They are, right??? Anyway, here is what I came up with.
This mint/seafoam camo manicure is all freehand. And...I don't know why the pictures came out so bad, but they did. By the time I had uploaded them to add my watermarks, it was already chipping, so it was too late to retake photos. Hey, sometimes that happens. But seriously, you can tell what's going on here. And it doesn't look bad in the smaller photos. :P I used Hello Kitty Minty, Wet n Wild Tree Hugger, and NYC Tudor City Teal for this. I just drew various blobby shapes. Hey, turns out camo is pretty easy!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Please make sure you check out what my fellow bloggers did for these prompts!

Funky French with Flowers
Hello! I have been playing with my collection of Loki's Nail Vinyls again, and did a cute floral, Spring-inspired mani using her vinyls to create a nice crisp funky french. I'm not sure where my inspiration came for this one. I was just sketching out ideas and then all of the sudden this idea was born. These three colors go so well together, too!
I started of with three coats of NYC Hamptons Peach, then used Loki's Nail Vinyls to mask the tip of each nail and painted over top of it using Julep Donna. Here is what it looked like at that point. Pardon the poor lighting, I wasn't in the mood to pull out my light box for this part. I really need to buy another Ott light. :) Oh and also, the dryness from the acetone - gross. Whatever though, you guys get the idea!
After I did that, I used a dotting tool to create the flowers using Color Club London Calling, then added a dot of Julep Donna in the center of each one. I really love this manicure. It came out so much better than I had even hoped. I have been sketching out my ideas on paper lately, and boy is it helping lol.
Here is NYC Hamptons Peach all by itself. This polish was a bit on the thin side, but it built up to opacity in 3 coats.
Thank you for stopping by to look today! I will be back in a couple days with a new mani for the 52 Week Pick n Mix. Have a great day!

Butterfly Manicure for Spring
Good morning! The theme this week in our stamping group is Spring, and, although I know the good weather is right around the corner, the persistent cold around here has been keeping me down. Well, this mani may have just pulled me right out of it because it makes me happy just to look at it! I did some simple stamping in green and then created some butterfly stamping decals to place over top. I really love how these came out!
I started off with two coats of Julep Francis, then stamped this vine pattern using Bundle Monster plate BM-406 and NYC High Line Green. Here is what it looked like before I added my butterflies.
After that, I created decals using PUEEN39 (and removed all of the flowers). I colored in each butterfly using Sally Hansen Purple Craze, Barielle Joytini, and Wet n Wild Dream Poppy. I added white to the back of each one to make the colors brighter. Once they were dry, I placed them on each nail at different angles, then added topcoat.
Hooray for Spring! I'm so excited to finally feel WARM again! Here is a quick swatch of Julep Francis all by itself. I'm slowly working my way through a lot of my untried colors, but it is taking a while. :)
Thank you so much for stopping by to read! Please make sure you take a peek at what everyone else did for their spring manis!

52 Week Pick n Mix - Crinkly Tape Manicure with a Glitter Topper
Hi everyone! I am getting so caught up in all of the holidays things there are to do, I am having a hard time keeping up with my blogging, so I may *gasp* go with plain nails through the holiday, just because there is so much other stuff to do right now. If I do go missing for a while, never fear...I'll be back after the holiday madness has ended. :) Anyway, I have some purple nails for you today! You all know I love purple, so I'm super excited about these nails.
I used NYC Nolita's Lavender for my base, then I cut some tape with scrapbooking scissors to make a scalloped edge. I masked half the nail, and painted on a no name glitter topper my husband got me from a company called Black Poppy. I totally love the tiny turquoise and magenta glitters in here and they look SO good with purple!
Sorry the picture above is so blurry. I was in too much of a rush and then I broke a nail, so I couldn't retake the pictures. Here is what Nolita's Lavender looks like by itself. I adore every shade of purple, but I'm really fond of this one. It is slightly dusty and a great opaque color. It went on in two smooth coats. I really want to try it for stamping to see if it will work.
Make sure you take a look at what everyone else did for this week's challenge. I may forgo next week's challenge in favor of all of the Christmas festivities that will be happening. Yay for family, food, fun, and presents!

52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge - Three Shades of Blue + Cats
Hi everyone! For this manicure, I decided to use some inspiration from my husband once again. A few months ago, he requested a manicure with kawaii style animals. I figured that I could grant his request with this prompt, and so I have some cute kawaii kitties to show off today. :D
I could not be happier with how these came out. It is cuteness overload, and I will not be removing these until they are chipping severely. This means you may not see my left hand for a while. heehee
I was determined to get both prompts for this week in, and I'm so glad I did because I feel like this looks great with all blue shades. I used NYC NY Blues for the base, then added my detail with Julep Jessica and an unnamed navy polish from The New Black. Here is what NY Blues looks like on it's own. This was a popular color around town. I got so many compliments on it before I ever even painted my kitties on! Maybe people were surprised to see a nice bright summery shade this far into autumn? Anyway, this is two coats of NY Blues.
Thank you so much for looking! Make sure you look at what everyone else did for their domestic animals and/or three shades of blue manicures!

52 Week Pick n Mix Challenge - 1960s + Matte
This week's prompt for the 52 Week Pick n Mix challenge is 1960s + matte or texture. I decided to go with a matte 1960s look for this one. I might show off some previously unswatched textured polish later in the week, too, if I have time. For this manicure, I used a fabric pattern I found online while looking for some 1960s inspiration. I didn't recreate it exactly, but I did try to use the same colors at least.
My base for this manicure is Spoiled I Only Eat Salads. The flowers and leaves were done using Nicole by O.P.I. Pros And Confidence, NYC High Line Green, Pure Ice Vintage Glam, and Konad Special White. After I finished my nails, I added Essie Matte About You. This is a closeup of my favorite nail - my index finger. :)
Here is what this manicure looked like before I mattified it.

Paisley Patterned Nails with NYC
Hey everyone! I did some fun nail art recently using a gift box I received as inspiration. I had just gotten these new NYC polishes and thought they would look great in a mani together. Boy do they!
I started out with NYC Mint'ed on Broadway, then added NY Blues using the saran wrap method. I painted on the paisley pattern using Hamptons Peach and Nolita's Lavender along with the other two colors, and added some white accents using Pure Ice SuperStar!. I totally loved this mani while I had it on. Here is what it looked like before I added my paisley. Pardon the messy cuticles. I just started a new job and did a lot of stress-picking. Shame on me!
Here is what NYC Mint'ed on Broadway looks like by itself. It's a lovely teal. I'm actually pretty certain it is almost a dupe of Zoya Wednesday (it's more green than it looks in this photo, I was experimenting with lighting). These polishes went on very nicely, too. That has been my experience with all of the NYC colors that I own, which is awesome considering their low price.
Thank you so much for looking - I'll be back with my Julep It Girl Box for July, and then I have more more new stamps to show off! I'm so excited!! :)

Golden Oldie Thursday - Coral
Good afternoon! I was hard-pressed to locate a coral that I hadn't already worn, so I am giving you the closest thing to it that I had. I consider this to be a bit on the coral side. I used to wear it all the time - this is actually my second bottle, but I haven't touched it in years, and I have never shown it off on this blog. This is NYC Central Park. It is a nice neutral on its own - great for the office.
Of course, I felt the need to dress it up with some stamping. So, I used Konad Special Black and my Mash-46 stamping plate to sass it up a bit. :)
That's all I've got for you today. Make sure you take a peek at what everyone used for their coral prompt. Have a great day!

January Tri Polish = Red, Orange, Yellow - Day 4 (3 for me!)
Ok, so I skipped last Tuesday because I just couldn't stand the red, orange, and yellow, but now here I am. Nail art is an addiction, people. I can't tear myself away from it! :) The three colors I used in this mani are Sally Hansen Lemon Zest, NYC Broadway Burgundy Frost, and COS BAR orange, which has no name. I also used some white, which was my go-to white, Pure Ice Superstar!.
I feel like these came out kind of crazy. If you cannot tell, I was trying to emulate Tartofraises (cute nails), but I feel like I ruined it when I added the dots and swirls. The flowers became a little overshadowed. Oh well, I tried, darn it. :)
This is my favorite flower of them all. It was the third one I did. The first one was on my thumb, and that one is definitely the worst. I love these one-stroke flowers. I need to do more of them!
Here is Sally Hansen Lemon Zest by itself. This is a great yellow. Unlike most yellows, it goes on mostly opaque. This is just two coats. I was very impressed.
Well thanks for looking! Make sure you look at what everyone else did with these three colors.

30 Day Flower Challenge Day 28: Cherry Blossom
Good morning! Oh my, I am so excited about this manicure! I went all out on this one, and it only took me about an hour to get this result. I love cherry blossoms, and even have a cherry blossom tattoo on my foot. I'm sparing you the photo since I know a lot of people get creeped out by feet haha, but you've seen it before if you follow me on facebook, as I post the occasional pedi on there. Anyway, without further ado, here is my cherry blossom mani!
LOVE it! I still can't believe how great this turned out! I started off with a diagonal gradient using Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac and Mint Sorbet and Julep Jessica. After that, I used a small brush to draw in my branches with China Glaze Call of the Wild, and used Sinful Colors Nirvana to accent that. For the blossoms, I dotted on Pure Ice Super Star!, then used my small paint brush and NYC Fuchsia Shock Creme mixed with white to add the shading. I used a dotting tool to add a small dot to the center of each flower/bud using NYC Fuchsia Shock Creme. And, that was it! It was actually pretty simple, but had pretty stunning results if I do say so myself. :)
Here is my gradient by itself. I had never thought to do a gradient on an angle before, but it just randomly came to me, so I went with it. :)
Thank you so much for looking and be sure that you check out what the others did for this challenge!
