40 Great Nail Art Ideas - 3 Shades of Red/Orange

Hi everyone. I have a challenge post for you all today. This week's theme required three shades of red or orange, so I picked three polishes and just did a little bit of stamping, then made a decal for one nail, adding in a bit of glitter.

I started off with Zoya Paz for my base. It is a bright orange, leaning neon, and my camera kind of couldn't capture the true color, so just imagine this shade with neon glow! :P I added stamping using Mundo de Unas Red and It Girl plate IG 103. After that, I made myself a quick decal using the same things, but painted in alternating bits using Bear Pawlish Light My Fire.

Here is what Paz looks like by herself. This polish actually dries to a matte finish, but I was in a hurry getting out the door, so I had to use fast dry topcoat on them.

Ok, that is all I have for you today! Thank you so much for visiting, and please make sure you check all the other red and/or orange manis below!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Grey + Colour

This week's prompt is grey + colour, so I am keeping it simple and elegant with a grey base and some pretty purple stamping. I used China Glaze Elephant Walk for my base, and OPI DS Extravagance for the floral lace stamping. The stamping plate I used is from an indie maker, It Girl. This image is from plate 103. The images are HUGE, and I just love how you can take different pieces of the same image for each nail. So much variety!

Here is China Glaze Elephant Walk on it's own. This is a cream grey that almost leans to green. It has a subtle silvery shimmer to it as well. It's very pretty. I did two coats here, and one coat of Out The Door topcoat.

Thank you so much for looking! Make sure you take a peek at what everyone else paired with their grey!

52 Week Pick n Mix - Most Precious Polish + Stamping Saturday

Good afternoon! I have been super absent since vacation ended, but it is only because I returned to loads of swatching and am struggling to get back into the groove of working (ew working is the worst! lol). Anyway, I am skipping the watercolour bit of this week's prompt and decided to show off my most precious polish instead. This polish is special to me because it was handmade by Missy from Gnarly Gnails for a giveaway that I won a few years ago. Now that she is no longer blogging, it has become even more special to me. She named this polish Orchadia.

It is a pretty raspberry colored jelly filled with various size hex metallic glitters and tiny shimmers. I did two coats here, and one coat of topcoat to smooth it out.

I stamped over it with Konad Special Black using my newest stamping plate: It Girl plate IG 103. This is a brand you can find on Etsy, and is brand new. Her first set of plates were just released at the end of August and I was super excited to get mine as I had pre-ordered it. It is etched very well. I had no issues trying to pick up the image and it transferred over beautifully every time. :D

Thank you so much for checking out my blog today. Please make sure you look at what every one else did for this week's challenge, and for Stamping Saturday!
