Summer Challenge Day 2 - Picnic

Day 2 (July 3rd) of the Summer Challenge is Picnic. I decided to go with a July 4th-themed picnic to celebrate the holiday. I'll admit, I had a hard time getting inspired for this one. So, here is my take on Picnic Nails.
So what do you think? I had to go with the traditional picnic blanket look, and used stamping to achieve the checkers. This was done using mash-50. For an accent nail I just had to try out Julep America, and it is quite pretty. This time I started with Pure Ice Super Star! for my base -then I just stamped over them with Nicole by OPI Sealed With A Kris, and added my ants with a dotting tool. Once again, I used so many colors for this, I'll just list them out:
  • Pure Ice Super Star!
  • Nicole by OPI Sealed With A Kris
  • Julep America
  • Pure Ice Black Rage
  • China Glaze Four Leaf Clover
  • Spoiled I Only Eat Salads
  • Sally Hansen Hi-Def
  • Misa What A Wonderful Day
  • Cover Girl Espresso
Here are a few more pictures, and my thumb so you can see it better.
