Delicate Nail Art

Hello from beautiful, sunny California! I am on my second vacation in just over a month, and I'll admit, it feels a bit abnormal. Good, but abnormal. For those of you that are wondering, no, I have not experienced a financial windfall, unfortunately. I just have a lot going on lately! Anyhow, I am still trying to catch up on blogging, while struggling with my multitude of papers for my last class. Vacation is a good time to do that since I don't have work thrown in the mix.

I did these pretty lace-inspired nails a couple weeks ago, and received lots of compliments for them.I started off with a new-ish polish from essie called the more the merrier. My aunt gave  this to me because she bought the collection and didn't think she would ever wear this color. Thanks, Auntie Laura!

I used essie where's my chauffeur and Fresh Paint Dragon Lady, which is one of several polishes that I picked up from Five Below a while back, to paint the lines and detail near my cuticle. I just used a thin detail brush for that part, and then topped it off with some Seche Vite.

I'll have another post for you soon - I have vacation nails to show you! Have a great day! I'll be back in cold, gray Ohio in a few more days!
