Summer Challenge Day 14 - Swimsuits

Day 14 (July 27th) of the Summer Challenge is Swimsuits. I decided to try to recreate the pattern from my favorite bikini.

So what do you think? I used this lovely chocolate brown from Finger Paints for the background, then used a dotting tool to add Pure Ice Wild Thing, Zoya Lo, this blue I mixed myself (which is really old and you have seen before), and Pure Ice Super Star!.

I'm such a fan of polka dots, I adore this mani...and this bikini!

Thank you so much for looking! A full outline of the challenge can be found here. Please be sure to check out the other participants in this challenge, too!

  1. It's so pretty, and you did an awesome job recreating the suit - it looks just like it! I have got to get myself a dotting tool, using bobby pins my dots never come out as clean as this :]

    1. Thanks! I finally gave up on pins about a month ago and you are right, it turns out so much better with the dotting tools! I got mine on Amazon for a little less than $5 - with shipping.

    1. Aw thank you so much!! The dots were so easy, I couldn't believe it. I always saw lots of 'dotticures' on other blogs and didn't think I could get the dots to look so uniform, but it wasn't too bad with a dotting tool.

Feel free to comment, or even ask questions here as well. I try to respond to everyone within a day or two, and would love to hear what you think about my blog in general, the nail art, or any suggestions you may have.
