Summer Challenge Day 3 - Favorite Summer Song

Day 3 (July 5th) of the Summer Challenge is Favorite Summer Song. I chose Boys of Summer (the remake by The Ataris) because it reminds me of my husband. The original is just as good, just a little bit less rock. :) When we were dating, we used to listen to this song and just drive around in the summer. I have lots of happy memories with him from those times. So with no further ado, here are my Boys of Summer nails, inspired by the cover art on the original CD.

I had a tough time with this one. I mean, I know its a challenge, but sheesh. I could not figure out how to translate this song into nail art. In the end, I just painted my nails black and stamped over with mash-43 using IsaDora Golden Siesta and Cover Girl Espresso. Then I did my accent nail with a gradient of Golden Siesta and Espresso, and stamped over it in black.
