Hello everyone. When I think of a New Year's mani, I pretty much think of anything with glitter haha. So, I busted out some of my new polishes (yay for Christmas!), and played around until I got this.
To be honest, I just had the idea in my head and went for it, so it didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. BUT, there is glitter (lots) and holo, so I am happy. :) I used Bear Pawlish Curiosity for my base. Oh my goodness I am so in love with this polish. It has everything I love - purple, glitter, holo...um well that's it really. :P And that is all it needs! It has so much more depth in person, but my camera just couldn't handle it. It always struggles with purples. The striping is done using Julep Harley mixed with Bear Pawlish The Gift 2015. I wanted my silver to be holo, but don't actually own a silver holo. You can bet that went on my wishlist!!! The circular glitter "balls" are OPI's I Snow You Love Me. This is such a weird polish to me...but it has it's uses. ;)
Here is what Curiosity looks like on it's own. I feel like my photograph doesn't do it justice. It looks more blue in some lights and almost red in other lights because of the shifty glitters packed inside. My camera went with more blue haha. It's a purple jelly jam-packed with so many purple, fuchsia, and holo glitters. It is crazy sparkly - perfect for New Year's Eve!

Stamping Plate Review - hehe 060 - Christmas Nailart
Good morning! Today, I have a review post for product I received from LadyQueen to review. They sent me several items, including 2 stamping plates and new nail art brushes. I am reviewing one of those plates today since it has a Christmas theme! This is hehe 060. It's filled with lots of Christmas sweater-type patterns and other cute Christmasy shapes.
I stamped with it over top of Different Dimension Static Vision using Mundo de Unas Reddish and Konad Special White. I had a hard time getting the white to transfer well, but since the red was fine, I think it's the polish and not the plate.
Here is what Different Dimension Static Vision looks like on it's own. It's totally gorgeous, and if the sun had cooperated, you could have seen that it is also a linear holo. I did two coats here. It's a green jelly filled with scattered holographic glitters as well.
If you like this plate, you can purchase it here. LadyQueen has also generously provided a coupon code for my followers, so feel free to use this code to receive 15% off your order: W EBS15. Thank you so much for stopping by to read my blog today! I hope you enjoyed this Christmas nailart! I'll be back after the holiday with some New Year's nails!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Christmas
Hi lovelies! I have a busy day today, so I'll be keeping this short and sweet. ;) I did a little tree pattern across my nails using a pretty new red I received from Kayla at Creative Cuticles for my base.
The trees and stars were painted using Revlon Posh and Sinful Colors Chalk It Up. I used one of my new tiny paintbrushes from Lady Queen, which I will talk about more in my next post. They are great so far.
This is what Creative Cuticles A Great Red looks like on it's own. It's a red jelly filled with red metallic hex glitters. I used two coats here, and may have needed one more coat for true opacity, but I knew I was painting over about it, so I didn't bother. ;)
Thank you so much for stopping by! I'm off to run a million errands, bake cookies, meet my FIRST nephew, and then celebrate my friends, Josh and Michael's wedding! Make sure you take a look at all the other fabulous Christmas manis!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Winter
I decided to focus on wintry colors for this mani instead of snowflakes since I just did a snowflake manicure last week. So, I made some decals using CICI&SISI plate 23, and I really love the way they came out.
I started off with Butter London Scouse for my base. It is a lovely blue shimmer that shifts purple. My camera didn't capture the purple, but I promise you, it is there. :) I made my decals using Mundo de Unas Holland Blue, and filled in the little flower/star in the center using Julep Kris. I added Pretty & Polished The Sky Is Falling to the diamond around the center.
Here is what Scouse looks like on its own. It is quite thin, so this is about 3-4 thin coats with 1 coat of Out The Door topcoat.
Make sure you check out every one's winter manicures!

November 2015 Julep It Girl Box
Hello! So, I took forever to get these swatches up, but I have the November 2015 It Girl box up on my blog finally. I really have not been in the blogging mood lately. I paint my nails, and even take the pics, but then they just sit on my camera for weeks. Whoopsie. Anyway, I have 4 swatches for you from this box.
I did not swatch the shimmer topcoat because I didn't have a chance to wear it on it's own, AND I had a really bad break with a sloppy patch, so sheer polish is NOT happening right now. :)
First up, we have Sonia. This is a metallic blue that dries to a matte finish. It is super opaque, and went on in just one coat. This is without topcoat.
Next, we have Rashida. This one is the same formula as Sonia, but is a soft bronze color. It went on in one smooth coat, and this swatch is with no topcoat.
Next, is Kris. This is a gorgeous shimmery silver. It looks almost flaky, and I struggle to describe it. It has tiny holographic shimmers in it that were really hard to capture. Basically, it's sparkle-central. I did two coats here.
Last, we have Melody. Melody is a glitter topcoat. You have to shake it to get the glitters to even out in the base. This was apparently done on purpose, but it really wasn't anything special to me. It contains tiny holographic glitters, silver shimmer, and multi-colored iridescent glitter. I painted it over white, to show the color variations.
That is all I have today. I will be back Saturday with some wintery nail art for you!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Glitter Topper or Flakie
Hi everyone. I have another Christmas-y mani for you today! Today we are all showing off different ways that you can wear a glitter topper or a flakie (those polishes that you cannot wear alone). I did some simple striping using vinyls.
The base color for my nails is Nicole by OPI Challenge Red-y. I then used the striped outline from my You Polish decals to make these wide striped and the green glitter topper is L.A. Girl Glitter Addict nailpolish in Purge.
Here is what Challenge Red-y looks like on it's own. It's a nice red cream, and went on in two smooth coats. It's a great Christmas Red!
Make sure you check out what everyone else did for this week's challenge! It's going to be sparkly - yay!

Christmas Mani with Painted Polish (which I named!!!)
Hi everyone. I was super excited to find out that one of the names I suggested for a new polish from Painted Polish was chosen, and Lexi actually sent me a bottle of the color. It is named Single & Ready to Kringle (man I'm clever bahaha), and it's a really fun Christmas glitter. It's a crelly in a pale pink base with red, green, and holo glitters throughout. It makes me think of peppermint. I decided to stamp some fun Christmas images over top using Mundo de Unas Red.
I used Bundle Monster's BM-H01 and BM-H02 for the images of the reindeer and snowflakes. :)
Here is what Single & Ready to Kringle looks like on it's own. Lexi's whole Christmas collection looks amazing, so you should definitely head over to check it out. ;)
Have a great evening, and thank you for stopping by today!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Cartoons & Comics
Happy Friday everyone! Today, the Nail Tarts are all sharing cartoon/comic themed nailart. I decided to go the cartoon route, and specifically decided to choose an anime tv show. My husband and I have been really into anime lately, and have watched a lot of shows. Our recent favorites are InuYasha and Seven Deadly Sins. After considering carefully, I opted to do some InuYasha nailart for this week's prompt. Any fellow InuYasha fans out there? Let me know what you think! :)
I had to include InuYasha's favorite move "Iron Reaver Souls Stealer". It was a little hard to fit it all on the nail...whoopsie. Also, Kagome is shouting "Sit Boy!" at him because that is my favorite thing in the show haha. I used a lot of different polishes for this. I'm just going to list them out, but just ask if you have any questions about any of the colors!
The base for this manicure is Pretty & Polished Aquaholic. This polish is crazy-pretty. It's a creamy bright aqua -leaning more blue, with a very subtle scattered holographic shimmer. I did three very thin coats here (I had issues with dragging due to my own impatience, and should have only had to do two). It dries to a satiny finish.
Thank you so much for stopping by to read my blog today! Make sure you check out what everyone else did for this week's prompt!

Thanksgiving/Fall Nailart
Hi everyone! I have some Turkey Day nailart for you today. It is really just a fall manicure, but it feels festive to me! Since I have lots to do, this is going to be a short post - mostly pics!
I used Butter London Chuffed for my base, then stamped over top using Mundo de Unas Yellow and Reddish. The stamp I used for the leaves pattern is Bundle Monster's BM-H11. The acorn was a fail, but there is no time for a redo. I made the mistake of not testing it out first, and the brown polish I tried to use was no good...so I just stamped over top with a different brown thinking I could line it up, but I was sorely mistaken! Haha! The acorn image is from BM-H12.
Here is what Chuffed looks like on it's own. So much lovely gold shimmer peaking through this orange jelly! This is three thin coats.
Thank you so much for looking. Have a happy Thanksgiving, and I will be back this weekend!

40 Great Nail Art Ideas - Grey + Colour
This week's prompt is grey + colour, so I am keeping it simple and elegant with a grey base and some pretty purple stamping. I used China Glaze Elephant Walk for my base, and OPI DS Extravagance for the floral lace stamping. The stamping plate I used is from an indie maker, It Girl. This image is from plate 103. The images are HUGE, and I just love how you can take different pieces of the same image for each nail. So much variety!
Here is China Glaze Elephant Walk on it's own. This is a cream grey that almost leans to green. It has a subtle silvery shimmer to it as well. It's very pretty. I did two coats here, and one coat of Out The Door topcoat.
Thank you so much for looking! Make sure you take a peek at what everyone else paired with their grey!
