Rainbow Honey May 2016 Just Nails Mystery Bag

Guys! It's Friday-eve! Yay! I'm so glad the weekend is almost here. Seriously, so glad! Anyway, I have my May Rainbow Honey mystery bag today - I started getting the Just Nails one. I like the bath and body stuff, but don't go through it quickly, so I need to work my way through my current stockpile before I get any more. So, in this mystery bag, I received three full size polishes.

First, I have to show you Ruby Sparkler. It is a gorgeous red full of amazing gold shimmer. I did two coats here, and the formula was great.

This, is Lemon Sparkler. This polish is a creamy lemon yellow filled with iridescent shimmer. This is two coats. It has the same formula as Ruby Sparkler.

This last one is my personal favorite of the three. I love glitter-filled crellies so much. Islands In The Sky is a pale blue crelly with white, purple, and green glitters. It had a great formula as well. This is three thin coats. I wanted layers of glitters. :)

Thank you so much for looking. I'll be back in a couple days with my next mani for the Nail Tarts challenge!

Rainbow Honey April 2016 Mystery Bag

Hello! So it's about a month late, but here is a peek at what I received in the April Rainbow Honey mystery bag. :)

It came with two nailpolishes, La Marguerite Rose and Summer Peach Tea, a lip balm, Summer Peach Tea scented cooling gel, and Summer Peach Tea Scented Topcoat. I swatched both polishes, and the pink is a great pink, but boring in my book. It will make a great base for manis, though. Here is what La Marguerite Rose looks like. The formula is great. It went on super smooth, and this is two coats. It's a bright, barbie pink, with cool undertones.

Summer Peach Tea is a lovely orangey-peach jelly with holo gold and silver glitters all throughout. It's a lovely sparkly color - perfect for summer! This one went on nicely as well. I did three coats here to try to minimize the nail line, but if you paint it over another polish, you really just need one coat.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and look at my blog today! I'll be back at the end of the week with the next prompt for 40 Great Nail Art Ideas!

March 2016 Rainbow Honey Mystery Bag

You all know I am super behind, but I have lots of polishes I want to show off from the past couple of months. so this is the first of several. :)I always love my mystery bags from Rainbow Honey, and March was no exception.

I received two super cute little soaps, mimosa scented perfume, and a new cuticle balm. I really love both of these polishes so much, and they are both somewhat space-themed, which I always like! The first polish I have to show you is called Outer Space Dust. It is a topper, so I painted it over top of Pure Ice Black Rage. It really does end up looking like outer space on your nails - a galaxy manicure without all the work.

Here is a closeup of the polish in the bottle, so you can see all of the different glitters and shimmer inside.

Next, is Cosmic Microwave Sky. It's a pretty crazy name, for an even prettier polish. ;) It's a blue jelly with cool little iridescent squares and shimmer.

Here is a closeup of this polish in the bottle. There is so much dimension in this one!

Thank you so much for stopping by today. I will be back Friday with a new mani for the Nail Tarts' challenge.

Rainbow Honey February Mystery Bag

Hmmm I fell a little behind with my blogging, so you are getting February's bag in March!!! I got a lot of great things in this bag, and the polishes were gorgeous (there was a purple AND a happy glitter topper!).

I received  a body lotion and hand sanitizer in a scent called Luvable Pink, and a grape-flavored lip gloss. The two polishes I received this month are Violetta Bot and Electric Love Bytes!.

Here are swatches of Violetta Bot. It is a metallic shimmery pale violet polish, and this is two coats.

Here is a macro of the color. It's extremely reflective, so not easy to photograph!

This is Electric Love Bytes! over top of Zoya Charisma. It has pink flower-shaped glitters, lime green star glitters, and pink and lime hexes, as well as a shifting shimmer that shifts from green to pink and matches the glitters so well.

Here is a macro of Electric Love Bytes!. I just love this glitter topper so much!

Well there you have it, better late than never I guess! I'll be back Friday with a new challenge mani!

Rainbow Honey January 2016 Mystery Bag

Hello and happy Thursday! It's Friday-Eve, so that means the weekend is almost here! Woooooo! Today, I have for you my mystery bag from Rainbow Honey! I got two full-size polishes this month, a lip balm, lip scrub, and whipped cream soap.  The lip stuff is cucumber melon scented and smells so good. I haven't used the soap yet, but I really like the concept. :D

This first polish is Called Planet M. It is a lovely deep magenta pink with tiny iridescent flakies, and blue shimmer. I did two coats here with one coat of topcoat.

The stamping was done using Mundo de Unas Sunflower and BM-XL29. Man I love my MdUs, they are my favorite!

The other polish I received is called Caramel Forest. It is a glitter topper with orange metallic hexes, large white squares, small black and gold hexes, and gold flakies and shimmer. It is shown here over Rainbow Honey Mr. Saturn. It's super sparkly in person. I did two coats and then added topcoat.

Thank you so much for looking today. I will be back on Friday or Saturday with this week's challenge post for the Nail Tarts!

Rainbow Honey December 2015 Mystery Bag

Good morning and happy hump day! :D Today, I finally have my Rainbow Honey mystery bag from December! They changed up their packaging a little bit - look at how cute the bag is that this came in!

I received two polishes, a mini perfume, and a little tub of shea and cocoa butter for my thirsty skin! I swatched both polishes and added a bit of stamping just to mix things up a little.

First, I have Majestic Bluewhale. Look at the gorgeous blue shimmer magical colors! It truly is majestic and is very reminiscent of ocean water. Below, I added a little bit of stamping using BM-XL25 and Mundo de Unas Spring Green.

Next up, we have Rainbow Honey Smokey Creme. This polish was a bit disappointing. It was terribly separated when it arrived, and no matter how much I shook it, rolled it, etc., it just would not mix back up. So, as you can see in my swatch, there were tiny specks of white where the white had separated itself from the color. I added some pretty stamping anyway. :D This is plate BPL-028 and Mundo de Unas Nabu.

Thank you so much for looking! I am already swatching my January mystery bag. I fell super behind with my blogging over the holiday. /(><)\ I'm trying to get back at it, and have soooo many manis done and just waiting to post! Anyway, I'll be back Friday for the Nail Tarts' challenge. Yay!

Rainbow Honey October 2015 Mystery Bag

I received yet another awesome mystery bag from Rainbow Honey this month and I'm loving everything in it. It came with three polishes, a lip balm, a tube of solid perfume balm, and a tube of aloe.

I haven't tried any other products in this bag aside from the polishes, so I don't have much to say about those, but I swatched all the polish, and they are so pretty! The first one I have to show off is My Midnight Garden. This is a dark blue jelly leaning slightly teal. It is packed with tiny silvery-iridescent  shard glitters. I did two coats here with no topcoat.

Next is Magic Brix. This is a dark orange polish with loads of gold shimmer. I did two coats here as well with no topcoat.

I did some quick nail art with Magic Brix and My Midnight Garden using my Loki's Nail Vinyls. :) These two colors look pretty good together!

Last we have La Isla Morada. This polish is a purple jelly with blue iridescent shimmer, white squares, bars, and  tiny circles, and black hexes and triangles. This is two coats with no topcoat.

Thank you so much for stopping by to read my blog today! I'll be back Friday with my first Halloween mani of the season!

Rainbow Honey September 2015 Mystery Bag

I have my September mystery bag to share with everyone today! It came with more bath and body stuff than nailpolish, so I was a little sad at first, but the chocolate scented soap and the giant bottle of nail oil (giant considering this is the mini bag!) totally made up for it. :D

Two polishes came in this mystery bag. First, is Underwater World. This glitter is in a clear base and full of yellow, white, green and blue stars, tiny green squares and blue hexes, white shards, and blue iridescent shimmer. I painted two coats over Nicole by OPI Pros & Confidence. I added one coat of Out The Door topcoat to smooth it out. The formula of this glitter is awesome. No fishing was required and it painted on very smoothly for having so many glitters in it.

The other polish I received was Just Sugar Coat It! This polish is loaded with iridescent small and medium hexes, small iridescent squares, and loads of iridescent shimmer. This one makes me think of magic. Like a unicorn or something haha.I painted two coats of this one over top of Essie Play Date, then added a coat of Out The Door Topcoat. The formula on this polish was very smooth, too. No fishing was needed to get a variety of the glitters on my nail.

So, there you have it. I tried out the nail oil, too and I just love it. It smells super good. The perfume was a bit too sweet-smelling for me, so I will probably gift it to a friend. Thank you so much for stopping by! I'll be back in a few days with a fall mani, AND a tutorial!
